Design Brief:

The X5 MEGADRIVE is a combination of our X4 Ovadrive and a primary gain stage that is fully independent of the main gain stage.

• GAIN STAGE 1: 2 channel switchable primary gain stage. Two knobs providing two separate primary drive levels to push the secodary gain stage into warm and quite convincing saturation. Footswitch provides A/B capability between the two channels of GAIN STAGE 1.
• GAIN STAGE 2: Two knobs and three toggles. This stage is pretty much an entire X4. It allows some pretty nice tonal shaping control.
