ALBUM 5

Our Photography Methods:

We've photographed every single pedal that we've ever built. Part of the reason for this if a customer writes and wants mods or whathaveyou, I have photographic reference to go to for answers on how the pedal was originally configured. It also protects us in any fraudulent warranty claims. I get asked a lot about how I take the pictures of our pedals that we post on the internet. Actually, it's a very simple process. I use a relatively cheapo camera (I think it was like $125 bucks at WalMart or something). I simply clear my workbench of everything but the three worklights I use to build pedals with. I take about two or three dozen shots of each pedal, all taken at different angles and such. Every single picture I have EVER published of my pedals has been photographed in exactly this fashion each and every time. What you see is taken straight out of the camera.

Absolutely no "photoshopping" at all:

I shoot each pedal then either post it or archive it. What you see posted on my website is taken straight out of the camera. I use zero "photoshopping" efforts, zero retouching, zero "redetailing" in any way or form what so ever. The pics you see of my pedals that I have shot are absolute "WYSIWYG" in every way. I don't use any retouching at all, period.

Here you go ... pics and pics and more dang-ol' pics.

Just as with "Recent Completions 1" these are some of the more interesting or otherwise noteworthy designs recently completed and shipped off to our customers. This is not a complete list of everything I've built and shipped out, it's just some of the more unique builds or of new models or new features. Some of them are just really cool looking images in their own right, which is why they got posted here.

I'll put the newest ones at the top this time ... it was pretty stupid of me to put the newest ones at the very bottom on the first Recent Completions page. It actually made the viewer have to scroll allllll the way down to the bottom of the page to view the newest additions. I mean the very horror of it all! You actually had to go through the awful inconvenience of using your pointing device (mouse, trackball, fingertip, everwhat) to scroll down to the bottom of a page that had ~gasp of gasps~ .. a bunch of pictures on it that you had already seen the day prior! Oh the sheer audacity of such a thing! So this time I'll put the newest entries on the top instead of the bottom .. avoiding all of the horrible scrolling. (you're welcome!). :)

030312: The first MEGA9s are shipping out.

This is the first one. Per customer request this one was done in our super-low-maintenance HEADSTONE finish. The graphics don't ~pop~ like the backfilled graphics do, but the non-reflective eco-friendly finish is most certainly practical. Go the the MEGA9 page for all the details on this unit. It's the farthest that I can stretch a Model 9. Full CARMA compressor controls, two GAIN STAGES, 3-position Tone Plug mode toggle, 3-position low end voice toggle, two position top end voicing toggle. The MEGA9 covers over TWENTY exisitng and previous FARNDURK designs. Yes .. twenty! Go see!

021512: The last of a group of three MODEL 6s goes out today. This one turned out pretty nice. Added a well done EASY-Q to this one as well as a T-type Tone Plug port and five Tone Plugs. I had such a screamin' headache when I built this one, the lights on the bench made it even worse. It came out ok though. :) The wide-angle lens on my camera makes things look a bit ~football shaped~ but the images still convey the message that I'm trying to send.
