GEAR: 1955 Hammond M3

"Morticia"

Craig's List wonder. Everything works, I've put in an M3-1 line-out adaptor in it .. so now it can do just about anything. These M3s have a simpler tone than the larger consoles do. The M3 pretty much sounds like an L100 or an M100 but the keys themselves are the "waterfall type" like on the consoles even though the M3 is a spinet. So it's this sortof odd combination of B3 and spinet. I plan on modifying this machine ... a lot!

It kinda takes me back to my first Hammond (below) .. my mighty 1967 M100 that I named "The Barbarian". I bought that thing in 1978 (picture taken in my bedroom in 1978. I was 17 and a senior at Marana High School in Marana Arizona).
