I've been playing since 1974. I play the Hammond, guitar, and the bass. I've put in years of touring musically with several small little nobody bands. I've been a dedicated bassist in touring and recording band for a solid eleven year stretch. I played the Hammond in "prog" bands for ...uh ... ever. I've played guitar on and off since 1983. I've built much of my own gear on and off throughout those years of playing, jamming, and recording. What Farndurk Custom represents is all of that time, all of that experience .. expressed in unique and useful electronic devices handbuilt in the Southwestern Deserts of the United States in a region known as Sonora. I am a Euro-American (aka "white") Indian mutt by nationality ("man of many tribes" ... I think the main thickness in my blood comes from the Cheyenne). I went to public schools that had "Fallout Shelter" signs hanging in the hallways and I knew the implications of what such a thing meant. I'm a Cold War military vet with experience around those old-school TITAN-II ICBM nuclear tipped "Moscow Killers" and the silos they were housed within. I design and build devices that are deeply influenced by all of those things I've described here. They're built to suit me and I then offer them (as well as many useful variations) to the public for sale. This is what I do, this is who I am. Things could not be any simpler.
